What is bariatric coaching, and how is it different from traditional personal training?
Bariatric coaching is tailored specifically to the needs of bariatric patients, focusing on safe, effective strategies for fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle changes post-surgery.
What happens during the onboarding process?
During onboarding, we’ll discuss your goals, medical history, and preferences to create a fully personalized plan.
What equipment do I need?
For most workouts, all you’ll need is comfortable clothing, water, and a positive attitude! If specific equipment is required, I’ll guide you on what to get.
Are your workouts beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Every workout is tailored to your current fitness level and progresses as you grow stronger and more confident.
Do you offer in-person training?
I offer both virtual and in-gym sessions (depending on your package choice). Let me know your preference, and we’ll make it work.
Do you provide meal plans?
Meal plans are included in the Empower package and are customized to fit your dietary needs and preferences.
How often will I hear from you?
With the Foundations Package, I provide weekly email check-ins. With the Empowerment Package, you’ll have access to more frequent communication, including text messaging.
What is the minimum commitment for your packages?
Both packages require a six week commitment to ensure you have enough time to see meaningful progress.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
- Coaching programs require a minimum six week commitment. After the initial commitment period, you may cancel your program with at least 7 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
- If notice is not given within this timeframe, you will be charged for that week and the cancellation will take effect after the following billing cycle.
- No Refund Policy: All payments for coaching packages are final and non-refundable, regardless of usage or circumstances.
- I encourage you to communicate any concerns or scheduling conflicts early so we can work together to make the most of your program.
- Emergency Considerations: I understand that emergencies happen. If you experience an unforeseen circumstance, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss options. Exceptions to this policy will be made at my discretion.
How do payments work?
Payments are made wekly and are made through the portal I use that will contain all documentation and paperwork for our sessions as well as an option for messaging and rescheduling appointments.
Can I switch packages after signing up?
Yes, you can upgrade or change your package at the start of a new billing cycle with a written request through the portal or email.
How soon will I see results?
Results vary by individual, but many clients start noticing changes in energy levels, mood, and physical fitness within a few weeks.
Can I lose weight with your program?
My coaching focuses on building sustainable habits, which often lead to weight loss, better health, and improved quality of life. My coaching style focuses on optimizing flexibility, mobility, increasing ease of daily life activity, increasing strength, enhancing metabolic health, and developing a positive relationship with all your body has and can achieve. Therefore, weight loss is a byproduct of this balanced approach, not the sole focus.
What if I have health conditions or injuries?
Your safety is my priority! I’ll work closely with you to ensure all exercises and recommendations align with your medical needs. Additionally, you would not be the first! My background as a nutritionist and personal trainer uniquely equip me to navigate a variety of conditions.
